Archana Karkhanis-Lavana, DMD

Archana Karkhanis-Lavana, DMD, is one of the general dentists at Family Dental Group, which has locations in Gardner, Paxton, and Northborough, Massachusetts. 

Dr. Karkhanis-Lavana graduated in 2000 from Tufts University Dental School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in dentistry in 1995 from Pune University’s Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College in Dhankawadi, India.

Dr. Karkhanis-Lavana is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and its local affiliate, the Worcester Dental Society.

She completed a fellowship from the International Dental Implant Association and is placing implants at the Gardner office of the Family Dental Group.

Dr. Karkhanis-Lavana strongly believes that her patients deserve the best available care. To achieve that proficiency, she is educated in single-visit crown technology (CEREC) and dental laser technology to reduce anesthesia and achieve painless dentistry.

Dr.Karkhanis-Lavana is compassionate and gentle toward her patients. She and her staff will strive to make dental visits painless and anxiety-free.

Dr. Karkhanis-Lavana finished the Frank Spears Institute Course in Aesthetic Excellence at Scottsdale, Arizona.

In her free time, Dr. Karkhanis-Lavana is an avid reader and a travel enthusiast. She loves spending time with her twin daughters, Kiara and Karisma, and her son, Ruhan. She has been happily married to Dr. Nikhil Lavana for 20 years.
